Using Google map

Best way to find a hostel is to Google it, just write hostel then city name then you will find many hostels like this  "Hostel in Islamabad". Many hostels will be shows there.

Some time maybe point like blue dot is not shown in map, this problem can be overcome by just zooming Google map to that area.  Other wish Google may not have data to hostel or location. This data is shown by depending on the reviews from user.

Using Google map other way to find a hostel or any other point is to just change your view to satellite view in Google mapm then go to the area where you want to find building e.g hostel, food places etc. Then you will find these hostels like in the picture

Note:

You have to do this because you don't know the name of places in that area. Also by search in Google map, these places are sometimes not shown as these place are submitted by users and not verified by Google.

Others ways include using websites like olx.com, Zameen.com

In these websites mostly agents post add so you can also query for nearby hostels. This way you can contact different agents and get information.
